The Danforth Pad in Maseru, Lesotho!

Check out our new home for the next few years!
The hill I see each day from my yard and kitchen window.  I love washing dishes and looking at that hill and praying over the Basotho who live in the mountains this winter.

Our front yard is mostly cement, which has become a joke amongst the Danforth Four.
We may open the Danforth Roller Rink Skate Park in our front yard :)
Our driveway/roller rink/skate park
The side of our house currently has patches of some kind of garden.
And who DOESN'T want THAT in their garden?
The tacky playground has GOTTA GO, but I'm sharing a pic for your amusement.
Laundry lines in the backyard.
Also in the backyard.  Wonder if there are any stories on the ricochet effect of a brick wall target.

  3. I was really hoping for a hut of some sort! Glad you are all safe and sound. Did you bring skates for your yard or do we need to send some?

  5. Maybe I will have to buy my kids some skates and sticky darts for our first visit to your home when we get back to Lesotho :) I hope your adjustments go very well as you get used to your new home and as you fall in love with Lesotho and the beautiful Basotho people!
