What's gone on since our last post:

1.  My parents visited for an awesome fun-filled week.

Going on a date night.

Tour of Moody Aviation
Homeschool P.E. at the YMCA
Hike to our favorite river.

2. Elaina rode sheep rodeo-style at the fair. See Facebook for video of this!

3.  Sawyer went to his first Monster Truck show with Daddy and Grandpa.

 4.  We said good bye to our dear friends from Bible Study, the Campbells, who went overseas to serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Our Bible study send off for the Campbells.
5.  We move into our permanent house, the Campbell's!
Mom and Dad got to see the home before they left.
6.  Our family decided to home-school both kids and their last day at Brentwood Elementary was last Monday.  They are in a home-schooling co-op on Tuesdays and Thursdays where they take classes with other kids.  Classes include Fiddle, Pottery, Lego Mechanics, Beginning Reading, Manners and Etiquette, Computer, and Expedition Earth.  Monday, Wednesday and Friday they are with me!

More to come!

  1. So happy to hear, and see, that you are in your own place now. It is great that your folks were able to visit. I hope the home schooling goes well! I am sure it will with Mama being the awesome teacher she is.
    Blessings to all!

  3. Praying as you homeschool! So glad your parents could be there for a week making family memories!
Please let us know specific prayer requests so we can lift them up to the Lord.

  4. Oh, how fun that your parents got to visit and see your new home-for-now. :~) I remember your parents fondly, especially when I think about being baptized (your dad and Mr. Endersby baptized me).

Blessings on you and the kiddos as you homeschool, too! That has been a frequent topic of conversation whenever we discuss the "future" in our household! I'll be excited to read about your adventures as you all grow and learn!
