...which means lots of family love, crisp air, pumpkin decor, thankfulness to our Father, baked goodies, reflection on you all, and a harvest field trip or two for the Danforth Christian Academy kiddos.

ADDRESS
Our address will remain the same this year. We have moved multiple times, so all our mail has been going to Moody so that our dear friends wouldn't have to update their address books multiple times for us :) Our phone numbers will also remain the same (our cells) and we will not have a land line at this home.

Stan Danforth
Last night was Moody's annual Staff Appreciation dinner. How awesome to celebrate 125 years of Moody Bible Institute with Sam's colleagues! We sat next to sweet friends and it was so refreshing to connect with our Moody friends away from work.
On a side note, Sam's name tag read "Stan Danforth". He seems to have a difficult name :) Usually it turns into Dan Danforth. Last night Stan Danforth won some great loot in a door prize and all his friends whooped and hollered "GO STANLEY!" as he went up to collect it.

Kidnapped and taken to Idaho
Several months ago, Sam came up with a sneaky master plan to kidnap the three of us on his birthday weekend and take us to a cabin in Idaho (45 minutes away). A family there has chosen to bless Moody staff with weekend getaways to this lovely cabin in the mountains. It was GREAT!

What's gone on since our last post:
1. My parents visited for an awesome fun-filled week.
3. Sawyer went to his first Monster Truck show with Daddy and Grandpa.
4. We said good bye to our dear friends from Bible Study, the Campbells, who went overseas to serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators.
6. Our family decided to home-school both kids and their last day at Brentwood Elementary was last Monday. They are in a home-schooling co-op on Tuesdays and Thursdays where they take classes with other kids. Classes include Fiddle, Pottery, Lego Mechanics, Beginning Reading, Manners and Etiquette, Computer, and Expedition Earth. Monday, Wednesday and Friday they are with me!
Going on a date night.
Tour of Moody Aviation
Homeschool P.E. at the YMCA
Hike to our favorite river.
2. Elaina rode sheep rodeo-style at the fair. See Facebook for video of this!
3. Sawyer went to his first Monster Truck show with Daddy and Grandpa.
Our Bible study send off for the Campbells.
5. We move into our permanent house, the Campbell's!
