Since we arrived at Spokane, we have been dog-sitting for a Moody family who was out of state. Today we moved in to house #2 where we will rent a basement apartment until the end of August. It is much nicer than we would have imagined and we are so thankful for the family renting to us. We have 2 bedrooms, dining room, bathroom, kitchen and shared laundry. A bike path runs through the front yard and I can't wait to try it out! The neighbors have chickens and I can tell Elaina and Sawyer will be spending a lot of time with them! Our mailing address will remain what I posted earlier for the whole year.

Today a Moody realtor will show us around town and tonight we will go to a Bible study BBQ with the family we will hopefully be renting from in September. Looking forward to today!

First Washington hike

We discovered Little Spokane River's hiking trails today! SO AWESOME! Sawyer found a sac of spider eggs and pondered out loud for a moment, "Mommy, it feels like we should be curious about that and poke it with a stick or something". :)
